Efrem Plawner is a documentary cinematographer, filmmaker, and photojournalist based between Los Angeles, Portland, and New York. His work centers on vérité nonfiction — sports communities, public life, and cultural identity — and extends into narrative, music, and commercial production.
Recent work includes L39ION / L39ENDARY and Makapo Aquatics, alongside independent narrative shorts, live-session music films, and photojournalism assignments for Voice of OC. He works in the field, with small crews, close to the people in the frame.
