Efrem Plawner is a Los Angeles based cinematographer and photographer studying Film Production at Chapman University. With a background in journalism and a deep respect for verité traditions, Efrem uses the camera not just to document, but to interpret.
Influenced early by his father’s love of photography, Efrem’s practice explores perception, identity, and truth. His projects span narrative, documentary, and experimental forms, often drawn to the mystical, the overlooked, and the emotionally resonant.
